Llandovery starlet Ella Peel is to make her second TV appearance next month in an advert with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, writes Eloise Wilden.

The 12-year-old Ysgol Gyfun Pantycelyn pupil plays the daughter in the latest advertising campaign from supermarket giant Sainsbury's and its range of £5 family recipes.

In the ads, the "naked chef" takes over a family's kitchen and cooks a fabulous meal for four with products available from the supermarket.

The advert, which was filmed on May 6 and 7 in Richmond, will hit the screens in June.

In the ad, Jamie knocks together a bargain recipe for fish cakes.

"Jamie Oliver was great, and really interested in Wales and the Welsh language," said Ella's mother Wendy Peel.

"Ella had to miss one of her exams because of filming so she would like to thank her headmaster Mr. Pugh for allowing her to reschedule the exam she missed. "

Ella, who starred in medical drama Casualty in January, has also been on a photo-shoot for a Capri-Sun advertising campaign, which can be seen in magazines like Bella, Best and Take-a-Break.

The Mark Jermin Stage School student now has her sights on winning the Pop Idol Carmarthenshire 2008 competition.
